This beautiful poem written by the Norewegian poet Halldis Moren Vesaas in 1945 (by the end of WW II) summarizes what we believe in. Unfortunately it seems the poem was never translated.

It says that happiness is only yours to keep if you share it. All of your happiness your brother is able to receive you should give him. And all of your brothers burden you are strong enough to cary, you should take.
The poem urge us to care for each other, but also that you have to keep the fire within yourself alive in order to warm a few of those around you.

It is truly a beautiful poem reminding me what life is all about.
